Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) notice

Short notice for EcoCredit NG as we expand across Nigeria. The full privacy notice is the controlling document.

1. Lawful basis

Contract (providing the account, escrow, and payouts), legal obligation (including the NDPA), and legitimate interests in security and audit.

2. Data we handle

Name, phone, email, area/address, role, transaction and wallet records, bank payout details, support messages, technical logs.

3. Cross-border processing

Hosting and database processors may store data outside Nigeria. We name them on the privacy notice (Paystack, Supabase, Netlify).

4. Your NDPA rights

• Access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection, where the Act allows.
• Right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

5. Gaps we mark honestly

• A named Data Protection Officer is not yet published; use hello@myecocredit.net.
