Privacy notice

EcoCredit NG is operated by Camzoid Limited (“EcoCredit”, “we”, “us”). We provide software and payment-coordination tools that connect households, operators/collectors, recyclers, and buyers around recyclable material in Nigeria.

1. Who we are

2. Data we handle

• Identity & contact: name, phone number, email address.
• Location-adjacent: address, area/LGA (Lagos, Ibadan, and other cities as we expand across Nigeria), pickup or yard notes.
• Account & transactions: role, deposits, weights/grades, wallet balances, escrow and payout records, Eco points.
• Bank / payout: bank name, account number, and the account name returned by Paystack.
• Messages & support: in-app or website contact messages.
• Technical logs: basic device/browser and security logs (e.g. IP for rate limiting).

We do not currently require electronic NIN or BVN. SMS OTP is not live. Vendor KYC via Dojah is not live.

3. Why we process it

• To perform the contract of providing the platform (accounts, deposits, escrow, payouts).
• To meet legal obligations under Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
• Legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, and audit of the hash chain.

4. Who we share with

• Paystack — payments, escrow, account-name matching, payouts.
• Supabase — application database and authentication (may involve cross-border hosting).
• Netlify — website hosting.
• Other users, to the extent a pickup requires a name, phone, or meeting point.
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Cross-border processing

Some processors (including hosting and database providers) operate outside Nigeria. We use them because the product cannot run without them, and we will update this notice as contracts and NDPA transfer tools are documented.

6. Retention

Account and transaction records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for audit, dispute, tax, and legal purposes. Some payment and hash-chain records may need to be retained even if you ask us to delete other data.

7. Your rights

Under the NDPA you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). See the NDPA notice. Email hello@myecocredit.net with enough detail to identify your account.
